The past few years brought to life incredible experiments and innovations. It showed us that so much more was possible and illuminated unimaginable challenges. Our healthcare systems were pushed to the brink. Overnight our clinics transformed to deliver virtual care. Pre-pandemic, social determinants of health enabled us to think bigger and more inclusively on the many elements that drive better health, but that was mostly paused as we focused on crisis.
Now several years into this evolving pandemic, we are at a crossroads and can choose to turn onto the road less traveled. How might we take the best of these recent experiments and innovations and apply them to our most current challenges? What elements might be preserved/resurrected from our past? How might we use creative destruction to let go of elements that are not needed? Most importantly, how might we birth new ideas and approaches to improve all our health?

This is an optional class running parallel to the Design Dash. Leaders have an outsized impact on innovation. Much of that impact is based on their mindset as they enter and exit teams and projects. A leader's mindset can either accelerate or implode innovation work, and usually all of this is unintentional. The key is to be explicit with which mindset you are carrying and knowing that they are swappable. Come explore Innovation Mindsets for Leaders to help you create the conditions for creativity and impactful solutions.
